Premier League: Sad tale of Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Arsenal, all that happened after his Instagram post- Ainsley Maitland-Niles is dismissed from Arsenal first-team training after publicly complaining about Gunners blocking his deal to Everton. Sportsmail reported that Everton made a bid for the English player, but he was told by the Gunners rejected his bid. Maitland-Niles was tried at 2 positions as a right-back and a central midfielder and performed well at both of them. Earlier on Monday, Maitland-Niles had taken to Instagram to complain about the failed move, posting: ‘All I wanna do is go where I’m wanted and where I’m gonna play @arsenal.

During the last window, Arsenal blocked a possible move to Liverpool and Leicester before allowing Maitland-Niles to join relegation-threatened West Bromwich.

In the summer 2020 window, Arsenal refused to sanction a deal for Maitland-Niles to join Wolves. The situation with the English defender has gone from bad to worse now and Arsenal should resolve it quickly.
