Taking cue from India’s leading mobile network, world’s leading lemon-lime flavoured soft drink Sprite has spread is presence in the Pakistan Super League 2019.
The Coca-Cola lime and lemon drink brand Sprite is bringing its crisp, thirst-quenching taste to the 4th edition of the Pakistan Super League by partnering with four franchises in the tournament. Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi have all got Sprite to quench their sponsorship thirst.
Pakistan Super League 2019 is scheduled to be played from February 14 to March 17. Eight of the total of 34 matches will be played in Pakistan.
The historic partnerships by Sprite were announced at a Press conference in Karachi. The event was opened with a recitation from the Holy Quran followed by the Coke Studio rendition of the National Anthem. The launch event had presence of galaxy of Pakistan cricket legends including former captains Zaheer Abbas and Wasim Akram along with Abbas Arslan, Marketing Director Coca-Cola Pakistan & Afghanistan.
Through this partnership with the four Pakistan Super League team, Sprite will be reasserting the philosophy of The Coca-Cola Company to support sporting activities and promote youth interests through passion points. Cricket remains perhaps the biggest passion point for all Pakistanis across all segments of the society.
