PSL 2021: Faf du Plessis Health Update- Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Faf du Plessis has suffered memory loss after colliding with Mohammad Hasnain on field during a Pakistan Super League (PSL 2021) match on Saturday. MS Dhoni’s teammate in IPL 2021 was taken to hospital where he received treatment for concussion.

After keeping him overnight at the hospital, Faf du Plessis was released on Sunday. In a tweet, he thanked the fans and updated them on his health.

“Thank you everyone for all the messages of support. I’m back at the hotel recovering. Have concussion with some memory loss but I will be fine. Hopefully, be back on the field soon. Much love,” he wrote on the micro-blogging site.

PSL 2021: Faf du Plessis Health Update- During the PSL 2021 game, Quetta Gladiators and Chennai Super Kings star du Plessis was rushed to hospital after he collided with teammate Mohammad Hasnain during a Pakistan Super League (PSL 2021) match against Peshawar Zalmi on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.

Saturday night had two moments of a scare for sports fans across the world. If Christian Eriksen’s on-field collapse during Denmark’s Euro 2020 match against Finland had the world searching for updates on any good news on the footballer’s health, in Abu Dhabi, Faf du Plessis survived his own moment of a scare.

PSL 2021: Faf du Plessis Health Update- It was during the 7th over of Zalmi’s innings when David Miller hit a drive off Mohammad Nawaz down the ground. Both du Plessis and Mohammad Hasnain sprinted to save the boundary. While du Plessis dived to stop the boundary, his head hit an on-rushing Mohammad Hasnain awkwardly. du Plessis was seen laying on the ground for a few minutes as physios rushed to check on his condition.

But the former South Africa captain got on his feet and walked out of the field on his own. However, he did not come to bat due to concussion precautions. Later, he was taken to hospital and was replaced by Saim Ayub as a concussion substitute.

Du Plessis’ wife Imari Visser later posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, urging to get him admitted to a hospital. She posted the image where the Protean was seen with a bad bruise on his neck and he was clutching his head in pain.

“This is killing me right now. Surely he should be checked in hospital?!??” Faf du Plessis’ wife Imari wrote on her Instagram story.
