PSL 2021: From Babar Azam to Imran Tahir, five match-winners to watch out in Pakistan Super League- The sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 6) is all-set to kick off on February 20. A total of six franchises will compete against each other in the action-packed T20 contest. Big players like Shahid Afridi, Ravi Bopara, Alex Hales, among others, will play the most-watched T20 tournaments in Pakistan. This article will talk about big players-cum-match-winners—Babar Azam, Imran Tahir, etc– for their respective PSL franchises.

Pakistan Super League (PSL)  – Babar Azam (Karachi Kings)

Pakistan captain Babar Azam is a stand out player in the T20 format. The 26-year-old has 5700+ runs in 165 T20s, including four hundreds and 46 half-centuries. Azam could turn out to be the leading run-scorer for his franchise in PSL 2021.

Pakistan Super League (PSL)  – Imran Tahir (Multan Sultans)

Tahir is a world-class player when it comes to the T20 format. He has over 382 wickets in 306 T20s, including 10 four-wicket hauls and two five-wicket hauls.

The former England all-rounder has over 7200 runs in 370 T20s. Bopara, 35, will be the gun for the PSL. He has 35 fifties to his name and one century. Besides this, Bopara also has 234 wickets to his name in the shortest version of the game.

Former South Africa skipper has experience of playing in IPL and CPL. He has amassed 5800+ runs in 220 t20 innings, including 37 fifties and one hundred. Du Plessis can also be handy with the ball (50 wickets in T20s).
