PSL 2021 Start Date: PCB aims to start Pakistan Super League from June 7, awaits UAE govt response on quarantine rules – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday said that it is hopeful of receiving a positive response from the UAE government on talks about holding the remaining PSL 2021 (Pakistan Super League) matches in Abu Dhabi, reported Pakistan Media- Geo TV. The authority will inform the PCB about the COVID-19 guidelines and SOPs. The details will be released along with relaxation over quarantine rules, if applicable.

It is notable that the remaining PSL 2021 matches will be shifted from Abu Dhabi.

The PSL management and PSL are trying their best to resume PSL 2021 from June 7 once it gets permission from the UAE government.

The production crew needs to start work as early as June 5 to start the PSL 2021 on Monday. At least 16 production crews are isolating in Dubai and PCB wants the UAE government to relax their 10 days quarantine.

The new schedule means Pakistan’s men’s team will now depart for England tour on June 25. The PSL final will take place on June 24.

Pakistan will play their opening match (ODI) in Cardiff on July 8 after quarantine.

Several players of Pakistan team officials have arrived in Abu Dhabi on a chartered flight. Their 7-day isolation ended on Wednesday.
