PSL 2021: These three PSL players were sold to RCB, KKR and SRH in IPL 2021 auctions-The IPL 2021 auction took place in Chennai on Thursday. Around 292 players went under the hammer ahead of the IPL 2021 season. Key all-rounders Chris Morris (Rs 16.25 crore- Rajasthan Royals), Glenn Maxwell (Rs 14.25 crore- Royal Challengers Bangalore), Kyle Jamieson (Rs 15 crore- Punjab Kings)) and pacer Jhye Richardson (Rs 14 crore- Royal Challengers Bangalore) earned big bucks in the IPL 2021 auction.
The IPL 2021 names also include players from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) but big players like Alex Hales and Carlos Braithwaite remained unsold. The duo was ignored by all IPL franchises—CSK, MI, DC, KKR, RCB, RR, SRH, Punjab Kings.
Dan Christian (Karachi Kings)
The Australia all-rounder Dan Christian was bought for Rs 4.8 crore to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He played a crucial role in BBL 2020-21, helping his franchise Sydney Sixers lift the BBL title for the third time.
Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman (Peshawar Zalmi)
Afghanistan pacer Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman was picked by SRH for Rs 1.5 crore. He can assist his team-mate, Rashid Khan, in the lineup. Mohammad Nabi’s presence makes Mujeeb third Afghanistan spinner for SRH in IPL 2021.
Ben Cutting (Quetta Gladiators)
It seems like lady luck has favoured newly married Ben Cutting (tied knot with Erin Holland recently). Kolkata Knight Riders bought the Australian all-rounder for Rs 75 lakh. He was unsold in the previous season after playing for MI in 2019.
Other PSL players who will take part in IPL 2021 are Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, Chris Lynn, Imran Tahir, Chris Gayle and Faf du Plessis.
All the above players in the Pakistan Super League would want to do their best in the PSL and carry the momentum into the IPL in April-May.
