PUBG bans players by mistake, this is what happened next- The gaming platform PUBG Mobile on Thursday banned some of its players by mistake. The players were impacted by incorrect bans caused by a file validation error after a client update. Now, PUBG Mobile’s support has come up with a tweet that all the bans have been removed, the error which caused the ban has been identified and resolved.

“For players whose Reputation Score was impacted negatively due to this, we are working to restore it to the correct level and will update you once complete,” it said in a tweet post.

Earlier this week, PUBG Mobile banned over 1 million accounts for cheating and hacking. The developer are clear that it won’t be lenient towards those who use cheat codes and hack the game. The players will not be allowed to use the game using the same account in future.

Taking to Twitter, PUBG Mobile said, “Don’t get caught on the wrong side of the #BanPan Cooking from March 5th-11th, we permanently banned 1,110,842 accounts from accessing our game. The majority of reasons include: Cross mark Auto-Aim Hacks, Cross mark Speed Hacks and Cross mark X-Ray Vision.”

Among the banned gamers, 34% of them were from the Bronze category, 13%from Diamond, 11% from Platinum while 10% and 7% of them were from the Ace category. Furthermore, at least 1% of them were from the Conqueror category. As for the hacks, gamers mostly, 29%, used the auto-aim. Apart from that, 28% were X-Ray vision, 19% were speed hacks and 16% were other hacks that led to the ban.

PUBG is currently banned by the government on national security grounds. As per the developers, they are trying to relaunch in India with the government’s permission.
