PUBG Battlegrounds Mobile India: Krafton finally announced that they are returning to India with the most beloved battle-royale game PUBG but under a new banner – Battlegrounds Mobile India. After looking at the poster and the teaser, the game still seems to have an old flavour to it. However, Krafton said that Battlegrounds Mobile India will have major changes to its gameplay which will be more ‘India centric’. The publishers went a step further to announce that they have made big changes to the privacy policy to keep in line with the government’s policies.

With privacy and data security being a top priority, Krafton will be working with partners, to ensure data protection and security, at each stage. This will ensure privacy rights are respected, and all data collection and storage will be in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in India and for players here. The data, according to Sportskeeda report, will be stored in a server in Singapore and India.

KRAFTON Inc. mentioned the information they collect, which can be categorized into three categories:

Information collected from third parties

Battlegrounds Mobile India improved the terms and conditions of using game where players need to confirm their age. “When you play our game we do not knowingly collect, use or share any personal information for those who are under 18 years of age without verifiable parental consent or as permitted by law,” Krafton said.

Players under 18 years of age, will be asked to provide the mobile phone number of parents or guardian to confirm the age of the player and legal eligibility to play the game. “If you are a parent or guardian and you can trust on Krafton, that your child with under 18 years of age who provided us with personal information. Their information will not be shared with anyone without your consent. When you feel that you wanted to delete information from the servers you can contact Krafton and request your child’s information to be deleted from our system,” it adeed.

Hence, if you are under 18 years of age, there will be a strict rule for the limit of playing game or using money for paid services in-game. Players under 18 years will get 3 hours to play in a day with Rs 7000 limit of daily uses in paid services.
