PUBG players dominate YouTube Top 10 Live Streamers list in 2020 – Big recognition for Indian gaming : It cant bigger for the Indian gaming than this fact. According to just released data by YouTube for Top 10 Live Streamers by Views in 2020 list 6 of Top 10 Streamers are from India. Though the Top streamer in the list NOBRU is from Brazil – Mortal, Dynamo King, Scout, Total Gaming, Gyan Gaming, Soul Regaltos are the 6 streamers from India in the list. 

Another point to note in the list is that most of the streamers in the TOP 10 list are primarily PUBG players – which proves that PUBG is not only one of the top played mobile game in the world but also one of the most viewed.
In the list revealed by YouTube – India is the only country with more than 1 gamer in Top 10 list. Whereas 6 out of top 10 gamers come from India, 1 each in the list is from Brazil, Venezuela, Australia and Colombia.

Creators across the board have seen massive increases in subscribers, audiences and viewership throughout 2020. One incredible example of growth in 2020 is Minecraft content creator Dream, who saw channel subscriptions surge from 1 million in January 2020 to over 13 million by October the same year. The channel’s speedrunning series drew in tens of millions of views each.

YouTube declares, 2020 Biggest year for YouTube Gaming, delivered 100 billion watch-time hours
2020 Biggest year for YouTube Gaming : YouTube Gaming has revealed that 2020 has been its biggest year ever, with 100 billion watch-time hours — double the number of hours watched in 2018 — and over 40 million active gaming channels.
 Of that 100 billion watch-time hours, 10 billion were of YouTube Gaming live streams, signalling a strong competition for Amazon-owned Twitch.  
The Google-owned platform said out of 40 million active gaming channels, 80,000 channels hit 100,000 subscribers this past year.

– More than 1,000 channels broke 5 million subscribers in 2020

– More than 350 channels hit 10 million subscribers. 

“In fact, there has never been a better time to be a YouTube Gaming creator. Over 350 gaming creators reached a whopping 10 million subscribers,” said Ryan Wyatt, Head of Global Gaming at YouTube.
