Eros Now will be the most prominently visible brand on the Royal Challengers Bangalore jerseys over the next three years. The Indian Premier League Bangalore franchisee has signed the GEC, OTT platform as the lead sponsor for the team.
Computer and printer brand Hewlett-Packard is the other principal sponsor.
Eros Now and RCB have agreed on a ₹54 crore, three-year association. As part of the deal, Eros Now shall pay ₹17 crore for the 2018 season. The deal for the 2019 and 2020 is valued at ₹ 19 crore and ₹20 crore respectively.
Eros Now has replaced mobile handset brand Gionee as the RCB title sponsor. Gionee, the title sponsors for the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Rajasthan Royals in the 2017 IPL, has stayed out from the IPL this year.
The Virat Kohli-led RBC team will sport the Eros Now logo on the front of their jerseys. The jersey will also have the HP logo on the right chest, while DuraGuard logo will be cemented on the back of the jerseys.
With the Eros Now signings, RCB’s brand list for 2018 will extend to 11.
RCB will start their IPL 2018 campaign with the home game against host Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens on April 8, Sunday.
