She also ended up crying and could not control her tears. In the tournament, the wrist-spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal, had to wait for the third game to pick up his first wicket in IPL this year. He struggled to pick up wickets for RCB in previous matches against Mumbai Indians and SRH. He had ended with figures of 0/29 and 0/41 in the previous fixtures.

In the first match, the 29-year-old had also completed the 100th game in IPL. Chahal dismissed Nitish Rana for 18 runs in the 7th over of the match. The latter was in red-hot form in the last two matches and could have been dangerous in the run chase.

Chahal didn’t had to wait too long as he quickly picked his second wicket in his next over. The 29-year-old also got rid off Dinesh Karthik who could have emerged as the finisher for KKR.

He ended up with 4-0-34-2 in his quota of 4 overs.
