The limited-edition KL Rahul Hero Can featuring the Red Bull athlete and India’s top T20 batsman, is part of a 360-marketing campaign. This includes consumer engagement activities that allow fans to get to know more about the favourite cricketer both professionally and personally. A newly launched microsite klrahul.redbull.com will enable fans of KL Rahul to play an interactive quiz called Red Bull Fastest 50.
Top three winners will get a chance to meet the cricketer at the end of the campaign. Three winners will also be announced on a weekly basis, who will receive KL Rahul limited edition fan kits. Visitors to the microsite will get to explore KL’s different strokes on the pitch as well as off it. This includes never seen before videos and written content about his fitness, lifestyle and of course cricket.
Talking about his association with Red Bull and this hero can campaign, KL Rahul said, “My association with Red Bull has been important for me and my career. As an athlete, you want things around you that push you and try to make you better – people who want the best for you. I have seen athletes in India and across the globe growing and reaching great heights thanks to the partnership with and support from energy drink giant Red Bull. Red Bull India is committed to the growth of cricket in the country giving wings to many young cricketers like me through Red Bull Campus Cricket.
“I make it a habit of consuming a can of Red Bull while training or before the game. It helps keep me going and focus on the game better. Thankful to Red Bull India for launching a limited-edition hero can celebrating our journey together and help me connect with my fans better. Think you can score the fastest 50? Play the quiz on klrahul.redbull.com for a chance to meet me. All the best!”
