BBL 2020/21- REN Vs HEA Result: Brisbane Heat won by 26 runs, A strong performance from the Heat. It wasn’t a rollover win by any means and such victories boost a team’s morale. Chasing a challenging target of 174, Renegades did lose Finch early and then Marsh after the latter got a start but Harper kept them in cruise mode despite losing wickets at regular intervals. Once he fell to a shot too many, the innings just crumbled despite the odd boundary in between. There was excitement due to the Power Surge start but that flame went off pretty soon. Heat’s bowlers used the pitch well, mixing up their pace and lengths, and cramping the batsmen. It was set up by the batsmen though, with Lynn and Labuschagne ensuring that the total got to a strong zone, helped by that late flurry from Gregory. So Heat stay alive and that race for qualification hottens up further.
