The Portuguese national and the Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has added an ‘animal’ worth Rs 19 crore to his already finest collection of supercars.
The player was all smiles and brimming with delight at yet another new acquisition, the Bugatti Chiron, which would have set him back by a whopping $3 million.
Ronaldo revealed his latest prized possesion through an Instagram video which shows him driving the car with his son in the passenger seat. He described the car as “animal” in the caption with the video. “New animal in the building Bugatti Chiron,” he wrote.
The 32-year-old footballing superstar, who reportedly earns $670,000 per week from club Real Madrid and is the highest earning athlete according to the Forbes already has McLaren 12C, an Aventador, a Mercedes S 65 AMG, a Porche 911 Turbo S, a Rolls-Royce Ghost, a Bentley Continental GT Speed, a Maserati Gran Cabrio, an Audi S8 and a Ferrari 599 GTO in his collection.
Last year when Portugal won Euro 2016, Ronaldo had celebrated the victory by buying a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse. He posted the picture of his Bugatti supercar with the description, “The animal arrive.”
In the first week of this month, the player also added Ferrari F12tdf to his collection. He posted a picture of his prized possession on instagram.
Chirron, which is the successor to the Veyron, was tested by Ronaldo earlier this year. He was a part of video where Bugatti test driver Andy Wallace was seen introducing Chiron to the ace footballer. The video showed Ronaldo taking the Chiron for a spin on VW Group’s Ehra-Lessien test track.
