Serie A Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Juventus training due to arm injury amid transfer rumors: Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo was seen leaving the team’s training session with an arm injury on Wednesday. The Portuguese attacker was hit on his right arm following a challenge from fellow teammate Alex Sandro during the team training. After being walked off the pitch by the medical team, Ronaldo is set to undergo various assessments before the Turin outfits clash on Saturday against Empoli.

The 36-year-old was not a part of Juventus’ starting 11 last week for their Serie A clash against Udinese. Despite rumors suggesting that it was the players’ choice to be omitted,  Max Allegri cleared all doubt stating that Ronaldo’s omission was purely a tactical decision.

The Juve head coach handed Ronaldo some minutes in their Serie A season opener as he came off the bench to score a winner in the last minute of the game. However, the 36-year-olds’ strike was ruled offside as VAR disallowed the goal forcing Juventus to split points.

Ronaldo has been in the limelight for the last few days with questions surrounding the future of the former Real Madrid star. Juventus expect the 36-year-old to stay this season despite rumors of him weaning to leave Italy this summer.

There has been an official approach or bids made by any clubs for Ronaldo, with the Portuguese star also not officially telling the club about his desire to leave the Old Lady. His current contract at the Allianz Stadium sees him pocket €31m yearly with the current deal set to expire in June 2022.

Latest developments from Sky Sports News have reported that Paris Saint-Germain is aiming to structure a deal that would see Ronaldo join the Persian outfit if Kylian Mbappe moves to Real Madrid.

Mbappe is currently in the final year of his contract at PSG and could leave the French giants next summer. With the 22-year-old declining all the chances to sign a new deal, PSG is looking to rope in Cristiano Ronaldo if they lose the French World Cup winner.
