Serie A: Roma defeated Udinese at home in their 22nd match of the season. Jordan Vertout scored a brace as Roma vs Udinese finished in a 3-0 win for Roma who entered the top 3 in the Serie A table.
Udinese came into the match on the back of three successive clean sheets. Roma took just five minutes to end the streak when Veretout headed the ball from Gianluca Mancini’s cross to gain the lead for the visitors in the 5th minute.
He doubled the lead and secured a brace 20 minutes later from the penalty spot after goalkeeper Juan Musso brought down Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the penalty box in the 25th minute.
Spanish forward Pedro added a third for Roma in stoppage time with a pleasant strike into the top right corner.
