Seven broadcasters will telecast the forthcoming South Africa-India series live across the host nation, Indian sub-continent, Middle East, USA, UK, New Zealand, Australia, and Malaysia.
Super Sports is the host broadcaster for the tour, comprising three Tests, six ODIs, and three T-20 internationals.
For the Indian viewers, the matches will be brought live by Sony Pictures Sports Networks. The first Test is commencing on January 5, 2018, at the Newlands Stadium, Cape Town. The Sony beam other than India will be available in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and Maldives. The broadcaster also holds the rights for the Middle East.
Sony will also stream the games live on its digital platform SonyLiv. The tour in India will be telecast on SONY TEN 1 channels with English commentary and on SONY TEN 3 channels with Hindi commentary.
The Indian cricket team is back in South Africa for a full tour after a gap of three years. The Virat Kohli-led boys after a remarkable season on the home soil face their first real test against the might of Proteas in their backyard.
Indian will be looking forward to creating history with their first series win in South Africa in twenty-five years.
