Shikhar Dhawan (born 5 December 1985) a left-handed opening batsman made his international debut in 2010. He plays for Delhi in first-class cricket and Delhi Capitals in the IPL. At the 2015 World Cup, Dhawan was the leading run-scorer for India and in the following year, became the fastest Indian to reach 3,000 ODI runs. He also holds the record for most runs in a calendar year in Twenty20 International cricket (689).
