One of the heroes of India’s ICC Under-19 World Cup title triumph, Shubman Gill has signed a bat endorsement deal with Ceat Tyres.
The young batsman will now be seen playing with a bat prominently displaying Ceat insignia in all formats of the game.

Gill, the vice-captain of the Indian Under-19 squad, made news for his prolific performance at 2018 ICC U-19 World Cup. He was the leading run-scorer for India with 372 runs and was also named the player of the series. His heroics in the ICC World Cup had influenced ICC to name Gill the Rising Star of the World Cup squad.
Gill will be seen in action during this year’s edition of Indian Premier League which starts tomorrow. The 18-year-old was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders for ₹1.8 crore in the IPL auction held in January 2018. KKR will host Royal Challengers Bangalore in their first match on Sunday, April 8 at Eden Gardens stadium.
