IQONIQ, the new fan engagement platform, has added some heavyweight sports industry names to its advisory board to support global growth plans. Marcus Luer, founder of Total Sports Asia, sports marketing firm based out of Malaysia is the latest to join the board along with Sam Li head of international business for SINA Sports.
It comprises: Marcus Luer, founder and chief executive of TSA, the Malaysia-based international sports marketing agency; Sam Li, head of international business strategy at Sina Sports, the sports subsidiary of Sina, the Chinese internet company; US sports agent J.B. Bernstein, chief executive of Access Group, the athlete management firm; Amir Somoggi, managing director of Sport Value, a Brazil-based agency specialised in sport marketing, sponsorships and sports asset valuations; and Itai Rauch, Cloud Platform business manager at Google.
The appointments build upon the foundation of the advisory board in May 2020, when Iris Cordoba, Jose Luis Rosa-Medina, Sean Callanan, Daniele Sano and Tracey Deforge were announced as members.

The IQONIQ platform is due to be launched in September, having been delayed from May because of the coronavirus pandemic.
IQONIQ was founded in 2017, and after spending three years developing and expanding its team, the brand was officially launched in January of this year.
