Star Sports First, benefiting from the Vivo PKL Final live, stays at No. 3. However, the free to air channel has lost major impressions during the week. There is also no change in the Sony Ten 1 and Star Sports 2 positions at No . 4 and 5 respectively. However, both the channels have registered a crucial decline in viewership impressions over the previous week.
In the Hindi news genre sports programming, Aajtak continues to be the undisputed leader. The TV Today Group-owned channel has first three of the top-ten list shows to its credit. Aajtak also enjoys a handsome lead in terms of viewership impressions over the next best India TV, which will take pride in registering four shows in the top ten list.
Among the English news genre sports shows, India Today Television holds the edge over the competition with having five of the Top-10 shows – at No. 1, 3, 5, 8 and 9 – to its credit. CNN News 18 and Times Now have two each with BBC World News getting the No. 2 show for the week in its name.
