Probability Sports India, a consortium of IIFL Group as Lead Member and Wizcraft, has invited bids from interested parties for awarding six teams to enroll and participate in the T20 Mumbai League.
Bids are invited from prospective team owners for Mumbai North (Malad, Kandivali, Borivali and Dahisar), Mumbai North-West (Andheri, Versova, Jogeshwari and Goregaon), Mumbai North East (Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund), Mumbai North-Central (Kurla, Bandra, Santacruz and Vile Parle), Mumbai South-Central (Wadala, Dadar, Mahim, Sion and Chembur) and Mumbai-South (Colaba, Byculla, Malabar Hill and Worli).
Interested parties can bid for three different teams.The highest, successful bidders for each team will get the right to own franchisee to field the team from the area. The successful bidder will get the right to operate one team in the league. Under and subject to the Invitation to Bid (ITB), winning bidders shall each be enrolled and awarded the right to operate a team in the League.
The ITB and other bid related documents shall be made available at Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) office from 15 to 17 February between 10 am and 6 pm on payment of an ITB purchase fee of Rs. 1,00,000 (Indian Rupees One Lakh only) by way of a demand draft/pay-order in favour of “Probability Sports India payable at Mumbai (scheduled banks only), the league organisers have stated in a release.
All bidding parties will need to fulfill the eligibility criteria and other requirements specified in the ITB, specifying details on the format and structure of the League and the rights and obligations of winning bidders.
The Bid Documents must be submitted by hand delivery at the MCA office latest before 6 pm on 20 February.

T20 Mumbai League is being conducted by Probability Sports India under the aegis of Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). The first season of the league is scheduled to take place from 11-21 March.
