French Champagne house Taittinger has extended its partnership with world football’s governing body FIFA.

Having partnered the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Taittinger has now agreed a deal for next year’s tournament in Russia, as well as the 2019 Women’s World Cup, which will be staged in its home nation.

Taittinger will provide the official Champagne for the national team showpieces. The company also released a limited edition bottle themed around the World Cup. From now on the limited edition bottle of Brut Réserve NV will be the official Champagne of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Celebrating Taittinger’s association with the tournament, the souvenir bottle is presented in a blue and silver box with a cosmic design to reflect Russia’s achievements in space, combined with the classic Taittinger hologram hallmark.

The bottle includes a silver label with the World Cup trophy featuring on the neck label.

Clovis Taittinger, general manager of Champagne Taittinger says: “We, the Taittinger family, are extremely proud to continue our adventure with FIFA. We are very thankful for FIFA’s confidence in our House and products. We look forward to a long and passionate connection between our two institutions.”
