Tokyo 2020 to accept applications for hospitality packages in August end

The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games has announce that it will start accepting applications for the purchase of hospitality packages at Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 venues.

A consortium of Sports Travel Hospitality (STH) Japan, JTB Corporation (JTB) and Sodexo will start accepting applications for hospital packages in late August, for those residing in Japan.

In-venue hospitality will combine first-class dining and sports entertainment with top category seats at 16 different Olympic sports and 15 Olympic venues. Hospitality packages are also available for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. These packages will offer a memorable and exciting experience for families, friends and businesses to enjoy Olympic events from dedicated in-venue hospitality lounges.

Applications for hospitality packages will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for those residing in Japan.

For those residing outside Japan, the in-venue hospitality packages will be offered in collaboration with individual National Olympic Committees. Further information will be available at a later date.

Tokyo 2020 has appointed a consortium comprising of organisations STH Japan, JTB and Sodexo as the global provider of the official in-venue hospitality packages. STH Japan delivers premium spectator experiences for the country’s leading sporting events and is the global rights holder for the official hospitality programme for Rugby World Cup 2019™.

JTB is the largest travel agency in Japan and is a global industry leader, with previous experience of supporting the Olympic Games, having assisted various sponsors to manage their hospitality and travel programmes in the past.

Sodexo, a global service company headquartered in France with 400,000 employees worldwide, is the majority shareholder in STH Group.
