India has sent its largest contingent ever to the Olympics, with 127 members showcasing their talent at the showpiece event. The Indian athletes will be competing across 18 sports.

1. Archery Mixed Team

Participants: Pravin Jadhav & Deepika Kumari

It was earlier decided that the husband-and-wife duo of Atanu Das & Deepika will be representing India at the Mixed Event. In the Friday ranking round Pravin Jadhav finished ahead of Atanu – so now it will be Jadhav and Deepika will be playing the MIXED Event.

Their first MATCH will be against team from Chinese Taipei.

Qualification: starts at 6:00 AM IST

Medal matches: starts at 10:45 AM IST

Participants: Saurabh Chaudhary, Abhishek Verma

Shooting at the Olympics has paid rich dividends for India, winning three Olympic medals in the sport. But this time at Tokyo Olympics, Indian shooters can achieve their biggest ever medal haul.

The Indians are ranked No. 1 and 2 in this event. Saurabh Chaudhary became the youngest gold medallist at the Asian Games when he won the gold medal in the 2018 Asian games. In the 2021 World cup in Delhi, he won medals in all the three categories he competed in, two gold in the team event and a silver in the individual event.
