Tokyo Olympics gold medallist Neeraj Chopra proposes to dancer Shakti Mohan on Dance+ 6 – WATCH – Neeraj Chopra is once again the talking point on social media after the Tokyo Olympics gold medalist “proposed” mentor Shakti Mohan during his appearance on Dance + 6. In a promo video, Neeraj can be witnessed dancing to the famous Punjabi song ‘Ishq Tera Tadpave’ which has since gone viral online. Chopra’s appearance on Dance + 6 comes after he and hockey ace PR Sreejesh appeared on Amitabh Bachchan’s quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati for charity.

Now, the 23-year-old has shown his slick moves in the promo videos for the upcoming episode of Dance + 6.

Neeraj Chopra proposes Shakti Mohan: In a video that is doing the rounds on social media, ‘Captain’ Shakti Mohan asked Olympic gold medalist and javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra to ‘propose’ to her on stage and teach host Raghav Juyal how it is done. As she asked him to hold her hand while proposing, he blushed beetroot red. Interestingly, Raghav flirting with Shakti and trying to express his feelings for her has been a long-running gag on the show.
Neeraj Chopra proposes Shakti Mohan: Shakti’s fellow ‘captain’ Salman Yusuff Khan advised him to think of her hand as a ‘javelin’ and hold it but Neeraj responded with “Phir woh phenkne wala ho jayega (Then I will be inclined to throw it),” which left everyone on the set in splits. “Mere life mein toh sabse zaroori javelin hai. Mujhe baaki kuch…na itna achcha khana banana aata hai, na main time de sakta (The most important thing in my life is the javelin. Neither can I cook very well nor can I give you a lot of time),” Neeraj tells Shakti after she requests the gold-medallist to come on stage and propose to her to show Raghav how it’s done.
Another promo shared online by Disney+ Hotstar showed Neeraj dancing with Raghav. The video featured him showing dance moves for different occasions – winning a gold medal, partying with friends, the ‘bromance’ dance as well as how one would dance at a wedding. Meanwhile, after Neeraj Chopra ‘proposed’ Shakti, Raghav pretends to be heartbroken and dramatically tells the athlete, “Bhai aapne galat jagah javelin phenka hai (Brother, you have thrown your javelin in the wrong place).”
