Tokyo Olympics: VVS Laxman, Anil Kumble lead Indian sports fraternity as wishes erupt for PV Sindhu’s bronze medal: India’s ace shuttler PV Sindhu clinched the bronze medal for India after defeating China’s He Bing Jiao at the Tokyo Olympics. As Sindhu registered a historic win- to become the first Indian woman ever to win two individual Olympics medals, congratulatory messages started pouring in huge numbers after her feat. The likes of reputed cricketers Virender Sehwag, VVS Laxman and Anil Kumble were among the first to offer their good wishes.

Sindhu dominated all throughout the match and finished with figures 21-13, 21-15 in the two sets.
