Two JMI girls named for Asian University Soft Tennis Championship

Two girls of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University have been selected to participate in the 1st Asian University Soft Tennis Championship.

The event will take place the Philippines from August 31 to September 4, the University has stated.

The selection of Shubh Gulati and Saayana Prakash was conveyed to the JMI Vice Chancellor, Prof. Najma Akhtar in a communication by Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India, affiliated with International Soft Tennis Federation as well as Asian Soft Tennis Federation and recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

Shubh is a student of M.A. (Psychology) final year and Saayana is pursuing BBA, in 2nd Year.

Prof. Akhtar congratulated the students for being selected to represent the university at the international event and extended her best wishes to them.
