UEFA Champions League: Puma apologizes to Borussia Dortmund fans over the new kit with the club badge barely visible- PUMA has apologized to enraged Borussia Dortmund supporters over their new cup kit. The jersey has caused indignity because Dortmund’s badge is hardly noticeable. The club crest is very elusive and is sandwiched between two black lines below the Puma logo.
Borussia Dortmund wore the controversial kit in their 1st Champions League game against Besiktas in Istanbul. They won that game 2-1 as teen sensation Jude Bellingham and in-form striker Erling Haaland scored to gain 3 points in Group C.

Puma’s CEO, ex-professional footballer Bjorn Gulden, has apologized to fans. He says Puma regret causing anger and has pledged to take the feedback on board.
Gulden said: “We regret the fans’ anger and would like to apologize to them.
“We have really taken the feedback to heart and will take it into account for future jerseys – just as we have done in the past.”
Dortmund is one of four big European teams sponsored by Puma wearing the questionable design.
Manchester City, AC Milan, and Marseille will also sport Puma’s controversial kit this season, in their own colors of course.
Puma’s vision for the kit, which hasn’t gone down very well with fans around the world, was to ‘challenge convention, innovate, and bring fresh products to football‘.
