While Pessoa did everything to get out, Gane had dominantly secured his win. Following the bold statement, Gane returned against Don’Tale in October to advance his win streak.

The electrifying matchup went till the third round, but Ciryl Gane didn’t let the judges decide his fate. Claiming another submission win via heel hook, he became 2-0 in the UFC. Meanwhile, Gane closed the year by defeating Tanner Bose in an impressive unanimous decision in December.
