Alexander Zverev

Germany’s Alexander Zverev is in super smashing form. He is yet to lose a match in the last 10 fixtures. The 24-year-old recently won the Cincinnati Masters and Gold medal at Tokyo Olympics, including a victory over top-ranked Novak Djokovic. Zverev will be bidding for the maiden grand slam at the US Open.

Stefanos Tsitsipas

French Open finalist will be aiming to take the revenge of final loss against Djokovic at Roland Garros. The World No.3 is by far the third-best player after Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev. He has been in tremendous form in the ATP events after his shock exit in round 1 of Wimbledon. He will be facing 2012 champion, Andy Murray, in the opening round- one of the high-voltage events in the US Open.

Casper Ruud

World No.11 Casper Ruud has been impressive in the 2021 Grand Slams. He made it to the last 16 and third round in the Australian Open and French Open. When it comes to his ongoing form, Ruud has won 8 out of the last 10 matches. The 22-year-old has won 9 out of 13 hard court matches. He will now be looking to continue his terrific performance at the US Open 2021.

Andy Murray

2012 champion Andy Murray will have a big task during his return to US Open after three years. He made his comeback with Wimbledon earlier this year. The Briton could only progress to round 3 of the top-flight tournament. The stats 7:5 (win-loss ratio at hard-court events) does not support his class. Owing to his experience, Murray must be looking to return to form in absence of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal at the US Open 2021.

Matteo Berrettini

Wimbledon finalist and sixth seed Matteo Berrettini will be looking to complete his unfinished business in Grand Slams when he kicks off his US Open 2021 campaign. The Italian had lost to Djokovic in the finals and will be looking to avenge his defeat in the year’s first Grand Slam. The 25-year-old has won 9 out of 12 hardcourt events in 2021.
