Valorant's new agent teased, new Controller could come with Episode 2 Act 2

Valorant’s new agent teased, new Controller could come with Episode 2 Act 2: In a recent post on Twitter, the handle, Valorant Leaks posted screenshots of what seems like the new Controller agent in Valorant. While the date for the Agent’s arrival is nowhere to be found, the screenshots look pretty impressive.

This new Agent is going to be a Controller, as Valorant’s John Gosicki points out. He further goes on to say that the “galaxy controller” is expected to have a “cosmic shift from the play patterns you’ve grown accustomed to.”

“This one is for all you ‘galaxy brain’ players out there that like to study everything that happens on a map,” Gosicki said.

Fans have discovered some clues after the 2.03 patch update talked about the mysterious next Agent. The Valorant maps after the latest patch have some shiny embers that can be spotted in various locations across the maps.

Many fans are calling this the Agent 15 of Valorant and are expecting it to drop either with Episode 2 Act 2 when it comes on March 2 or before that.

Gosicki also says that none of the agents that have been introduced by now has been disruptive enough when it comes to the gameplay they have to offer. Valorant has had a history of adding Agents through many updates and since launch, popular agents with great abilities have been added. They are Duelist, Initiator, Sentinel, and Controller. The game launched with 10 agents and Reyna, Killjoy, Skye were added eventually. The latest addition to this count is Yoru.

This “cosmic” controller will be joining Brimstone, Omen, and Viper. While two of the most interesting Agents have been Viper and Omen, it is Omen who has gained a lot of popularity amongst the casual, ranked, and pro players across many regions. Both Brimstone and Viper have been downgraded to niche picks for certain maps. For Viper, Gosicki says, there could be some changes that players can expect to see sometime soon.
