Virat Kohli fills with gratitude on completing 12 years in International Cricket

Virat Kohli made his debut in international cricket in an ODI against Sri Lanka in Dambulla on August 18, 2008.today he completed 12 years in International Cricket.Kohli remains the only batsman with a 50-plus average in all forms of the game.His Journey has surely been an inspiring one.

Kohli’s debut match wasn’t the most memorable one for Indian fans but the current Indian captain has since enjoyed a stellar career for the Men in Blue across all formats.The 31-year-old now has 31 tons to his name with 27 of those coming in Tests, while 43 have come in ODIs. To add to the list he has 104 half-centuries across formats now.

In 2017, Virat Kohli became the captain of the Indian team across all the three formats. He plays for for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League, and has been the team’s captain since 2013.
