The German car manufacturer, Volkswagen has signed an agreement with the European football’s governing body, UEFA to partner all UEFA national team football competitions running from 2018 until 2022, including UEFA EURO 2020.
The deal will see the German car manufacturer serve as the official mobility partner. The package includes the 2019 and 2021 Uefa European Under-21 Championships, the 2021 Uefa Women’s Championship and the 2020 Uefa European Championship, which will be staged across 13 European countries to celebrate the governing body’s 60th anniversary.

Volkswagen has deep roots in European football in particular. Starting in 2019, the German football association will be joining the existing partnerships with the national football associations in France and Switzerland to drive the Volkswagen brand.
