WATCH— WWE Superstar Triple H challenges Virat Kohli’s Indian Cricket Team for a cricket match, In a build up to WWE Superstar Spectacle, one of the WWE’s biggest events produced specially for the Indian audience, WWE Legend, Triple H had a candid session with Sony Sports on Extraaa Innings. Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President, Global Talent Strategy & Development, shared his love for Indian culture and how the Indian audience is one of the most special to him. The Superstar talked about how he is excited about the special show where top 10 Indian WWE Superstars will be seen sharing the screen with some of the biggest International WWE Legends and Superstars. WWE Superstar Spectacle will air on Sony Ten 1 (English), Sony Ten 3 (Hindi) and Sony MAX (Hindi) channels at 8PM IST on India’s Republic day, 26th January 2021.

While he spoke about how the show will integrate the Indian culture and traditions and give a never seen before feel, the conversation quickly moved to two of the most loved topics for the Indian audiences- Cricket and WWE. When asked about what he thinks would a clash of the Indian cricket team and top WWE superstars look like, he mentioned, “We almost have enough WWE Indian Superstars to make our cricket team. Given a chance I would welcome the clash between the current Indian cricket team and WWE Indian Superstars.” In zest, he further went on to say, “All I need to know is the time and place for the match and we see how we can line it up.” The 6’4” WWE Legend believes he would have been good at having a go at batting, “I’d like to think, I could be pretty good at anything I set my mind too. If I picked one up (cricket bat) I could do some damage, at least tried to, maybe I would have been great at it, but not the same kind as Tendulkar (Sachin).” He went on to imagine, how Sachin (Tendulkar) would do in a role reversal, inside a ring with a sledge hammer. “Would have to see how Sachin would do with a sledge hammer in the ring.”
