The West Indies will start their five-week tour of India with the Test match at Rajkot from October 4 to 8. The second Test fo the two match series will be played at Hyderabad from October 12 to 16.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India and the West Indies Cricket Board have announced the schedule for India’s home series against the West Indies.
The Caribbean team on the five-week tour of India is scheduled to play 2 Tests, 5 ODIs and 3 T20 internationals.
Five one-dayers will follow the two-match Test series. Guwahati will host the first one-day international on October 21, followed by the Indore (October 24), Pune (October 27), Mumbai (October 29) and Thiruvananthapuram (November 1).
The three T20 internationals will be played at Kolkata, Lucknow and Chennai respectively on November 4, 6 and 11.
Team India is currently playing the Test series in England. The fifth and the final Test is scheduled from September 7 to 11 at the Kensigton Oval, London.
Between the England Test and the West Indies home series the Men in Blue will embark on the Asia Cup tour in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from September 15 to 28. Virat Kohli, who had complained of a sore back, has been rested for the Asia Cup.
