WI vs PAK: Kieron Pollard confirms Dwayne Bravo to retire from T20Is after T20 World Cup– West Indies skipper Kieron Pollard on Tuesday confirmed that all-rounder Dwayne Bravo will retire from T20Is after the upcoming T20 World Cup. In a video message, he can be seen sharing a special message for his teammate during the 4th T20I against Pakistan.
“I just want to take this opportunity to wish one of our stalwarts. In all three formats, he has played though he retired from the other two a long time back. But Bravo is playing his final game in Maroon on the Caribbean soil. We look forward to that,” Kieron Pollard said.

Notably, Dwayne Bravo had previously announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in October 2018. However, he came out of retirement to play T20Is in December 2019. He had bid adieu to Test cricket way back in 2015. The champion allrounder will be crucial to the defending champions in the T20 World Cup later this year.
In the West Indies, Bravo has made 138 international appearances – 15 in Tests, 93 in One-Day Internationals and 40 in T20 Internationals.

Dwayne Bravo, the two-time Twenty20 World Champion, announced today’s match against Pakistan in Guyana will be his last international match on home soil. He made the disclosure to his teammates in the team huddle.
Bravo has been a lion-hearted competitor for West Indies from the very start of his career. The highlights of his T20I career are the two World Cup wins – in 2012 on his birthday against Sri Lanka in Colombo, and in 2016 against England in Kolkata. He is one of the greatest performers in the shortest format, and his bowling at the death is superb.
As a clever right-arm seam bowler he has excelled and is the leading wicket-taker for West Indies with 76 wickets in 85 matches. His best figures are 4-19 which came last month against South Africa at the Grenada National Stadium.

Besides international cricket, Bravo has featured in a number of T20 leagues around the world, including the IPL. He will look to use his experience to help the West Indies team retain the T20 World Cup in UAE.
The 37-year-old might also consider retirement from IPL after the IPL 2021 Phase 2 in UAE. He will next feature in the CPL 2021
