West Indies batsman must be making plans against Nortje ahead of the first Test.

South Africa pacer Kagiso Rabada has been the backbone of the national side for the last few years. However, form in 2021 is not by his side as he could only pick five wickets in four innings. The right-arm pacer is averaging 39.4 which is higher than his career average of 23.5. Rabada will have to pull up his socks to help South Africa win the Test series.

West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite is in form of his life with 386 runs under his belt in 2021, in just 8 innings. He is averaging 40 and has scored one hundred and two fifties. His ability to play against spin and pace will help West Indies overcome the threat of Rabada and Keshav Maharaj.

West Indies veteran pacer Kemar Roach has picked 10 wickets in six innings in 2021. He has been the prime bowler for West Indies and as coach Phil Simmons said, he will lead the attack against South Africa in the Test series. He has over 200 wickets in Test cricket and will be a lethal weapon against the underconfident Proteas side.
