Wimbledon 2021 – Venus Williams Crashes Out: Venus Williams crashes out as Ons Jabeur becomes first Tunisian woman to reach third round: In a match very much of two halves, No. 21 seed Ons Jabeur defeated five-time former Wimbledon champion Venus Williams 7-5, 6-0 in just 79 minutes.

After a lengthy first game that included eight deuces, the pair looked evenly matched, with Jabeur emerging from that first tight set 7-5.

Wimbledon 2021 – Venus Williams Crashes Out: The momentum then shifted further towards the Tunisian whose deft drop shots frequently left the the former world No.1 unable to find an answer. This was a very different set, with Ons striding to 6-0 in less than half an hour.

Venus Williams Crashes Out: Fresh from her title win on grass in Birmingham this month, where she became the first Arab woman to win a WTA title, today’s win sends Jabeur through to the third round for the first time at the All England Club, where she will face either Lesley Pattiname Kerkhove or Garbiñe Muguruza.
