GROUP B – Mongolia stuns Russia 6-4
The second seed Russia started as favorites against the Mongolian side. But brilliant performances by 2019 World championship bronze medallist Bat Ochir, Gantuya Enkhbat and others from Mongolia surprised the Russian team. Russia came for world cup without their world champions Natalia Vorobieva (72kg) & Inna Trazhukova (65kg) and that proved costly for them as they lost crucial bouts to go down by 6-4 to Mongolia.
