The used ball of the match which India won by 89 runs on Duckworth Lewis method too has been among the most precious memorabilia of ICC World Cup 2019.
International Cricket Council’s official partner OfficialMemorabilia.com has reportedly fetched ₹ 1.5 lakh ($ 2,150) for a cricket ball used during the India-Pakistan match on June 16 at the Old Trafford, Manchester, OfficialMemorabilia.com has revealed.
India had eventually crashed out of the ICC World Cup 2019, going down to New Zealand in the first semi-final that was spanned over two days (July 9 and 10) with the rain on Day One forcing the game into the reserve day.
A total of 27 memorabilia associated with Team India were put on sale by the OfficialMemorabilia.com. Of these most have been sold out with the coin used for toss during the Pakistan game fetching $ 1,450 (₹ 1 lakh approx.) and the scoresheet going for $ 1,000 (₹70,000).
Only the match ball, toss coin and the scoresheet from the semi-final against New Zealand were left to be sold. The match ball has a base price of $ 850 (₹60,000 approx.), toss coin at $ 350 (₹ 25,000) and the scoresheet $ 400 (₹ 28,000).
