Cricket World Cup 2019: Warm-up games LIVE in six languages

The ICC World Cup 2019 host broadcaster Star Sports has also confirmed that the warm-up games will be broadcast LIVE in India on the Star Sports network channels – in Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Bangla, Malayalam and Kannada.

Starting Friday, May 24, the top ten teams battle it out to emerge as the ICC Cricket World Cup champions by playing two warm-up games each. As a run up to the tournament Team India will play against New Zealand and Bangladesh in the warm up matches.

Committed to bring the best of sporting action to fans with world-class production & broadcast of games, innovative programming and curated customised feeds, Star Sports network will telecast the warm up games in English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Bengali and Malayalam.

May 25, Saturday: India vs New Zealand (Star Sports 1, Star Sports 1HD, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 1 HD Hindi, Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Sports 1 Telugu, Star Sports 1 Kannada, Star Sports 1 Bangla) and England vs Australia (Star Sports 2, Star Sports 2 HD).

May 26, Sunday: Pakistan vs Bangladesh (Star Sports 1, Star Sports 1HD, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 1 HD Hindi, Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Sports 1 Telugu, Star Sports 1 Kannada, Star Sports 1 Bangla) and South Africa vs West Indies (Star Sports 2, Star Sports 2 HD).

May 27, Monday: England vs Afghanistan (Star Sports 1, Star Sports 1HD, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 1 HD Hindi, Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Sports 1 Telugu, Star Sports 1 Kannada, Star Sports 1 Bangla) and Australia vs Sri Lanka (Star Sports 2, Star Sports 2 HD).

May 28, Tuesday: India vs Bangladesh (Star Sports 1, Star Sports 1HD, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 1 HD Hindi, Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Sports 1 Telugu, Star Sports 1 Kannada, Star Sports 1 Bangla) and West Indies vs New Zealand (Star Sports 2, Star Sports 2 HD).

All the matches are scheduled to start at 3:00 pm India time.

The matches do not get official One Day International status and teams will be free to rotate all their 15 players.

India will be playing their two warm up games against New Zealand and Bangladesh.

The ICC World Cup 2019 will be played from May 30 to July 14 in England and Wales. Hosts England face South Africa in the tournament opener on May 30 at the Oval, London. The Virat Kohli-led Indians also start their World Cup 2019 campaign with a match against South Africa on June 5, Wednesday, at Southampton.
