WTC Final: Michael Vaughan asks Virat Kohli, ‘Is the IPL going to reduce by 2 weeks so WTC Final series could fit in’ – After losing the World Test Championship final against New Zealand India captain Virat Kohli said that there should be a WTC Final series than just a final. Responding to his comment former England skipper Michael Vaughan asked if IPL going to reduce by two weeks to fit in the series. New Zealand won the inaugural WTC Final by eight wickets on Wednesday.
WTC Final: Vaughan with his comment tried to suggest that there is not enough space in the international calendar to fit a WTC Final series. He also went on to say that winning one of the Test makes New Zealand great as they performed on the only opportunity they got.
Where in the schedule would it fit in ?? Are the IPL going to reduce the year of the final tournament by 2 weeks so it could fit in ? Doubt it ..: Finals are one off games where teams/individuals know they have to deliver … that’s what makes them so great 👍 https://t.co/MhqHkp5lvH

WTC Final: India captain Virat Kohli in a post-match press conference said,” I am not in absolute agreement of deciding the best Test side in the world over the course of one game. If it is a Test series, it has to be a test of character over three Tests – which team has the ability to come back in the series or totally blow away the other team. It can’t just be pressure applied over two days of good cricket and then suddenly you are not a good Test side anymore. I don’t believe in it.”
Congratulations to New Zealand for winning the World Test Championship. 👍👍
