WWE Braun Strowman: 3 possible reasons why WWE parted ways with Strowman: Braun Strowman’s release is something not every fan is willing to digest. He was one of the powerhouses in WWE and had been doing his job perfectly. However, his sudden release has raised many eyebrows amid the WWE Universe. Here are some of the possible reasons why WWE parted ways with The Monster Among Men.

WWE Braun Strowman: Budget-cut

Ever since WWE started releasing their talents in April 2020, budget cuts were the only reason that panned out. WWE has already released around 50 employees, and budget cuts are the only reason behind it.

On the latest Hall of Fame podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T pointed out the reason behind Strowman’s release, and he stated that it was due to the huge contract he had in the company. He said,

“Yeah, it definitely made me go, ‘Wow!,’ you know, ‘Braun Strowman?’ And then I started looking at it from a business perspective, you know, if it is true, the rumors out there saying Braun Strowman had a huge contract and he was making a lot of money. When doing budget cuts, that’s the one thing you’re going to be thinking of – ‘Who do we really need? Who’s the guy we really need here to keep this thing running?”

WWE Braun Strowman: WWE looking to promote new talent

Another reason for his ouster could be WWE looking to promote new talent. There are many stars in the NXT locker room waiting to shine and hoping to move to the main roster. Releasing Strowman could be a possible direction on the path of giving new talents the much-deserved attention.

WWE Braun Strowman: The dull viewership of Monday Night Raw

WWE Raw’s may viewership has been pretty ordinary. Week after week, it has succumbed down to the ground facing new lows. One of the reasons for the low viewership could be Braun Strowman, who was not fitting in any of the storylines and hence wasn’t seen on WWE TV after Wrestlemania Backlash.

With Strowman’s release, WWE could look forward to reviving Raw’s viewership by instilling some fresh faces from NXT and make them more relevant with the Red Brand. Also, there is news that Finn Balor is someone Raw’s creative team is targetting. He could be one of the faces to help Raw get back on track in terms of viewership.
