WWE Contract: This post is related to Goldberg’s WWE Contract. WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg has been one of the most intimidating, fierce, dominant, and tormenting figures in WWE. Despite being 54, his willingness to wrestle and dominate his opponents hasn’t faded away as he continues to take his fans on a frenzied ride with his destructive in-ring abilities.
Goldberg recently made an appearance at WWE’s The Bump, where he revealed he still has two more matches left on his contract. Here’s what he said, “Hey, I’ve only got two more matches on my deal here, so we’ll see what happens.”
WWE Contract: Goldberg has already fought in two matches this year
Before Goldberg’s revelation about his WWE contract, He had a two-match-per-year deal with the company for the next three years. He has already had his first match of 2021 against Drew McIntyre at the Royal Rumble PPV for the WWE Championship that ended up with a loss for the Hall of Famer. His bout against the All-Mighty WWE Champion Bobby Lashley would be the second and perhaps his last of 2021.
WWE Contract: Goldberg also revealed his dream opponent
Goldberg is a veteran of the pro-wrestling industry. Over the years he had many memorable feuds against the best of the bests. Big Show, Ric Flair, Kevin Nash, Razor Ramon, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Chris Jericho, The Rock, and to name a few. Having an undefeated streak of 173-0 in WCW is no joke and seems impossible, but possible if you are Goldberg.
Despite perishing so many superstars over the years, Goldberg still has a dream opponent in his mind, and it is none other than the 16-time World Champion John Cena. When asked about his dream opponent on The Bump, Goldberg revealed,
“John Cena, that’s always been a dream. Never been in the ring with him. We are two completely different characters. Hey, you never know. You never know.”
WWE Contract: Both John Cena and Goldberg are on the cusp rolling down curtains on their decorated career, but having them ging up against each other is every ardent pro-wrestling fans’ dream. Will we ever see this dream match? Well, like Goldberg said, “You never know.”
