WWE Extreme Rules 2020: WWE’s upcoming pay-per-view Extreme Rules has been a constant headline-grabber for more than one reasons. While some are due to its match cards, others are due to the covid-19 outbreak which has put a question mark on its future. But the lead runner of all the Extreme Rules headline is the indecisiveness of the company in naming its July-bound PPV. WWE has for the second time changed the name of Extreme Rules 2020.
Last month they had renamed WWE Extreme Rules 2020 as ‘Extreme Rules: The Horror Show’. However, for an unknown reason, the pro-wrestling company on Sunday announced that they have once again renamed it. This year’s Extreme Rules will now be called ‘The Horror Show at Extreme Rules’.
Extreme Rules matches confirmation at the moment
So far, we have confirmation of four matches that will take place at this pay per view.
Braun Strowman will face off against his old companion Bray Wyatt in a non-title Swamp match. This match will include the cult persona of Bray Wyatt and the merciless Braun Strowman dominance on WWE over the roster. Wyatt made an appearance on the Firefly Fun House and challenged Strowman to the match.
On RAW Brand Drew McIntyre will defend his WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler at this pay per view. Apart from the title both of them will try to prove their dominance on the red brand.
Next, we have the women’s match which includes the team of Bayley and Sasha Banks will on the action at same night but in separate matches. Sasha Banks will be looking to capture the RAW Women’s Championship title against the champion Asuka and on the other match, Bayley will try to retain her Smackdown’s Women Championship against Nikki Cross. Will the duo walk away from The Horror Show at Extreme Rules with all the gold?
The renaming only suggests that the pay per view will full of destruction and anything can happen on this pay per view the horror show at Extreme Rules.
The Horror Show at Extreme Rules will take place on July 19th.
