WWE Hell in a Cell: Roman Reigns possible opponent and 2 other matches that could be added to the PPV

WWE Hell in a Cell: WWE is closing on its next pay-per-view named Hell in a Cell on Sunday, June 20. Their plans to return back to normal (with live audiences) have forced them to push the PPV ahead from its usual spot.

So far, three matches have been announced for the PPV event. Raw and Smackdown Women’s Championship will be on the line. Also, the coveted WWE Championship will be defended by Bobby Lashley against Drew McIntyre inside the hellacious structure. That said, here are some predicted matches that could aptly fill the match card of Hell in a Cell PPV.

Roman Reigns vs. Rey Mysterio for the Universal Championship

WWE Hell in a Cell

WWE Hell in a Cell: After what transpired last week on WWE Smackdown between The Mysterio’s and The Usos & Roman Reigns, this match looks likely to go ahead at the Hell in a Cell PPV.

The master of 619 will be looking to get his hands on Roman Reigns after the attack The Tribal Chief laid on Rey’s son Dominik Mysterio last week on WWE Smackdown. Rey Mysterio, being one of the greats, has never gone one-on-one against Roman Reigns. But, this could well be an opportunity for WWE to pull off this high-stakes match.

Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins

WWE Hell in a Cell

WWE Hell in a Cell: The rift between Seth Rollins and Cesaro is far from getting over. Seth Rollins has brutally assaulted the Swiss Superman at Wrestlemania Backlash and the following episode of Friday Night Smackdown. Twin attacks have given a clear indication that these two men will be colliding at the Hell in a Cell PPV.

Despite Cesaro missing from the last two weeks on Smackdown, the Swiss Superman is expected to return next week to throw a challenge to Seth Rollins for a match at Hell in a Cell. Currently, this feud is the most heated one, and adding this match as a Hell in a Cell match in the PPV will boost its weightage.

Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke vs. Natalya & Tamina for Women’s Tag Team Championship

WWE Hell in a Cell

WWE Hell in a Cell: After releasing Lana, Ruby Riott, and disbanding the team of Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler, it seems like Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke are the only genuine team in the Women’s tag team division apart from the tag team champions Natalya & Tamina. To add yet another women’s bout at the PPV event, WWE could look forward to this particular match despite no buildup so far.
