WWE Money in the Bank: WWE Money in the Bank PPV is all set to amaze the live crowd in attendance at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, on July 18. All the major championships will get defended in the pay-per-view event along with the decorated Money in the Bank ladder matches for both men and women. As we all know, WWE is a place of endless possibilities, and therefore, we have come up with five things that could take place at the Money in the Bank PPV and leave the audience awestruck.
WWE Money in the Bank: John Cena returns and costs Roman Reigns
The 16-time World Champion John Cena is rumored for several months for a return. News has been surfacing that the leader of the Cenation will return once the live crowd is back in attendance. Money in the Bank seems to be a perfect platform for John Cena to make a huge return and cost or maybe confront Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns and John Cena are rumored to main event Summerslam 2021, and for this to happen, it is mandatory to have an unexpected between the two. With The Usos expected to assist Roman Reigns during his Universal Championship match against the 11-time World Champion Edge, there could be a case for John Cena returning and costing Roman Reigns the championship by taking out The Usos. This sounds like a wild imagination but certainly a possibility to start a feud between John Cena and Reigns.
WWE Money in the Bank: Becky Lynch returns and confronts the Raw Women’s Champion
It’s almost a year since we have seen Becky Lynch on WWE TV. Becky took a maternity break last year following the MITB PPV event, where she defeated Shayna Baszler to retain her Raw Women’s Title.
With her return rumors sparking, there could be a possibility of her returning on July 18 and confront the Raw Women’s Champion. Whether it is Charlotte Flair or Rhea Ripley, whosoever holds the title at the end of the bout, watch out for Becky Lynch.
WWE Money in the Bank: Riddle winning Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match
Riddle is one of the shining stars on the Red brand, and his growth scale is escalating week after week. He came into the limelight with the RK-Bro storyline, and today he finds himself one of the favorites to win the Money in the Bank briefcase.
Winning the briefcase could propel Riddle’s storyline with Randy Orton, as the Apex Predator is already bemused not making it to the Money in the Bank ladder match and seemingly blames Riddle for this. The briefcase can elevate the tension between Orton and Riddle and put the RK-Bro stable to hold.
WWE Money in the Bank: Seth Rollins costs Edge his maiden Universal Championship triumph
Edge’s return was welcomed with both hands by the WWE Universe, but one person for whom his return was a speck of dust in the eye was Seth Rollins.
Seth was unhappy with Edge’s return and getting a Universal title shot which he thinks he deserved better. Seth interfering in the main event to cost Edge the Universal Championship could well be a case to plant seeds for their rumored match at WWE Summerslam next month.
WWE Money in the Bank: Liv Morgan winning the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase
Liv Morgan is yet to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match, but she has been working her heart out to get slotted. After proving her potential week after week, Morgan seems to be a perfect fit in the Money in the Bank ladder match and eventually wins the briefcase at the PPV event.
A win for Liv would be a monumental one, as it will open the flood gates and put her into the much-deserved title picture that has been eluded from her for years. Are you excited to see Liv Morgan holding the MITB briefcase?
