WWE News: Has Adam Cole’s WWE Contract Expired Already? One of the biggest WWE News that has been making all the right noises is about Adam Cole’s WWE Status. The volume has increased ever since his NXT Takeover 36 two out of three falls match against Kyle O’Reilly on August 22 that saw him ending up on the losing side. 

Adam Cole’s pro-wrestling future is not hanging in balance, as many believe he might have wrestled his last match on WWE NXT at the Takeover 36 PPV event. First, it got reported that Cole’s WWE contract will expire shortly after WWE Summerslam, but an exact date wasn’t disclosed at that time. His contract originally expired after the NXT Great American Bash event but extended his contract till August.

However, a new revelation has been made regarding Cole’s status with the company. According to Fightful Select, Cole’s current WWE contract is up till Friday, August 27. The report further states that the company would be making an offer to Cole on or before August 27.

Adam Cole has been a workhorse in WWE NXT. During his entire tenure with the company, Cole has selflessly worked for the Black & Gold brand his four-year tenure with the company and has been one of the most decorated NXT superstars of all time. 

He has been a one-time NXT Champion, one-time and inaugural NXT North American Champion, one-time NXT Tag Team Champion, and the second NXT Triple Crown Champion. Besides the championship accomplishments, he has won the 2018 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic with Kyle O’Reilly. It would be interesting to see if Adam Cole gets his WWE contract renewed before he becomes a free agent, and we will keep you updated on this WWE news.
