WWE News: Here’s the latest WWE News regarding John Cena. Cena is perhaps one of the most influential figures in WWE history. The 16-time World Champion, who seems to be a part-time entity today, has carried WWE on his shoulders for many years. He has successfully switched to a career in showbiz in recent years and emerged as one of the most lovable Hollywood celebrities. 

Recently, Cena sat for an interview with The Sun, where the former 16-time World Champion revealed that he has gone through a dreadful phase in his life when he used to be homeless and lived out of his car before taking up WWE as a career.

“I slept in my car for a while, which happened to be a very roomy 1991 Lincoln Town Car. I had my clothes in the trunk, and I slept in the back seat. I’d wake up, use the locker rooms and the shower and repeat the process all over again.”

During the conversation, Cena also revealed how his dad used to be an able ally to him and always supported him through the good and worse. He said that his father left the door open for him to return, but the champ never wanted to return home as a failure.

“Dad told me I would be home with my tail between my legs in two weeks. Sure enough, I went through my resources quickly and had to think on my feet. I didn’t want to go home crying.”

WWE News: When will John Cena return?

Cena is scheduled for a massive return on the July 16 episode of WWE Smackdown. The show will be streaming live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, and will embark on the first outing of the company’s pre-announced 25-day tour. Also, he is expected to face Roman Reigns at WWE Summerslam that will be streaming live from the Allegiant Stadium on August 21.
